She has been in the field of education for the past 11 years and gained experience in the classroom climate in 3 different school systems and 2 states.

With each one she has taken many learning tools to apply towards the current school year at New Manchester High School. A graduate of Hampton University and Clark Atlanta University, Ms Greene is not a newbie to Georgia having taught in Rome Georgia and as a substitute teacher in schools in and around the Atlanta area. She has a drive to help others around her at all times, no matter the time and amount of work it might require of her.

Ms. Greene received the Teacher of the Year award 2018-2019 from Meadowbrook High School in Chesterfield, Virginia, her previous school district
What are her goals?
Ms. Greene doesn't just like teaching all levels of math, but she also loves to read, explore (travel), exercise and listen/play music. As a teacher, Ms. Greene wants to make a difference in education by engaging students in meaningful learning tasks to maximize their potential. Ms. Greene's main goal is to be that teacher of mathematics who is willing to do whatever it takes to support students who are struggling in understanding mathematics. She wants to motivate students to want to learn more about the subject of math and how math can be applied to every aspect of their lives
Digital Learning
The LMS platform Google Classroom is where all your coursework for this class will be delivered to. Students will be able to complete all their reading assignments, exams and projects at this platform. No additional log in information is required to access the LMS since students can enter the LMS via their Douglas County Student Portal. Our synchronous (live) class meeting will take place within a google meet. We will meet for a 60-minute class live. Live classes will include lectures, discussion, games, cartoons, anecdotes, simulations and both individual and group activities. The ability to interact with classmates and ask me questions in real time. All your course materials are included in this course experience and can be found on the LMS platform google classroom. You will have access to online links, remind and google drive.
