Mrs. Ladonna Crowder
I am so excited to be entering my
5th year here at New Manchester High School.
I grew up on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi and received my Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (BS Chemistry) from The University of Southern Mississippi in 1989. I received my Master's degree in Teaching and Learning with Technology (MATL with Tech) from Ashford University in 2011.
I worked in Environmental Testing and Medical Research (10 years) in Texas before I decided to change careers and become an Educator. I taught Chemistry and Physical Science in Texas for 5 years before my family moved to Douglas County. We have lived here since 2005.
I worked in Rockdale county for 6 years as a Science teacher, teaching various science courses. I also taught Science at Lithia Springs High School for one year. Then in 2016, I took a position as a Virtual School teacher. I began working at NMHS in 2018 and have really enjoyed the family feeling of this school and love the students here.

As your Science Teacher, I have 16 years’ experience as a Science teacher and 11 years’ experience working in the science field before I became a teacher. You are being taught by a team of highly qualified science teachers who care about you and will work with you to make sure you succeed.
