Our program's mission is to promote the development of lifelong values and skills through the sport of cheerleading.  We aim to build character, discipline, self-esteem, and integrity in every athlete. Jaguar Cheerleading is dedicated to upholding school spirit, unity, and pride and will show good behavior and sportsmanship at all times by representing New Manchester High School to the highest degree. Through coaching and preparation, our athletes will also learn respect, humility, and commitment as well as exhibit leadership qualities to the student body and community.

ARE YOU READY TO BE A 2024-2025 JAGUAR CHEERLEADER?

NMHS Jaguar Cheer Tryouts are March 25 - March 28, 2024. All potential cheerleaders and their parent(s) are invited to attend a mandatory Interest Meeting on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 6:30 PM in the NMHS PLC.

Tryout Checklist:
1. Attend the Jaguar Cheer Interest Meeting on Thursday, February 29th at 6:30 PM in the NMHS PLC (located in the front office).
2. Submit completed cheer packet at Cheer Registration on Tuesday, March 19th from 4:00-6:00 PM in the NMHS Lobby.

Please note, there is a mandatory parent/cheerleader meeting on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 6:30PM in the NMHS PLC (located in the main office). Deposit of $250 is due at this time. Cheerleaders and parents, please join our 2024-2025 BAND group using your first and last name to receive all important information and updates.
