On Friday, Jaguars wrapped up their long term community service project with visits to Mt. Carmel Elementary and New Manchester Elementary schools- and yes... SpongeBob definitely stole the show!
From early morning reading sessions to lunchroom story time, students spent months building relationships, boosting reading confidence, and showing younger students that reading can actually be fun! Character day brought the figures that students recognize most TO LIFE!
The goal? Get kids excited about reading.
Mission- Absolutely accomplished!
Literacy Leaders is expanding next year with more schools and data-driven strategies to grow even more readers!
