Media Center Hours: 8:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.

Our desire is for all students and faculty to feel welcome in our media center. Below you will find some information to help students navigate through necessary information regarding the media center.

Students must have a teacher's passbook and school ID badge to enter the media center during the school day. Before and after school no pass is required.

When a student enters the library during the school day, he/she must give the teacher's passbook to the circulation desk attendant and sign in with his/her school ID badge.

Our fiction section is shelved by genre.  Our reason to organize the collection by genre is to make it easier for students to locate books that meet their interest.

Any student interested in being a part of TOME, please stop by to discuss this great opportunity!  To learn more, click on TOME in the right column.

A student is allowed to spend his/her lunch period in the media center as long as he/she has his/her school ID badge and doesn't eat in the media center.  We have puzzles for students to work on during lunch or, if available, students can work on computers.

No food, drink or candy in the media center, please.

Books may be checked out for a 2 week period of time. Reference materials can be checked out only overnight and must be returned the next day.

For the 2019-2020 school year, freshman students are allowed to only check out two books in the beginning.  Each time students successfully checkout four times at their current level, the number of books allowed increases.  Students who have overdue books or unpaid fines may not check out any library materials. Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors are given consideration determined by their check-out history.

A fee of 10 cents per day is charged for books returned after the due date. A grace period of four days is given before charges accrue. Fines are also charged for books returned with damage. Students must pay for lost books.

Students are allowed to use computers in the media center for school projects. There is a charge for printing: ten cents per page if printed from the black/white printer and fifty cents per page if printed from the color printer. This is necessary to offset the cost of ink cartridges and paper.
